Upgrading glass jars is the way of coming up with original, personal and sustainable presents. I personally love giving some colour to those good old jars. Even if that colour is white! You might fill them up with a little present, a candle or some flowers.
This easy to make jar cosy crochet pattern allows you to experiment with different colours. I used two different colours for each, but just one colour would also do, or more!

Materials needed :
- Aran weight cotton
- Glass jar, diameter 9 cm, (opening 7,5 cm) height 14 cm
Yarn used: Drops Paris
Crochet hook: 5 mm hook Clover amour

Round 2 | Ch 3, 2 tr in ch sp (around, not in the ch), 1 fptr around next dc |
Round 3 | Ch 5, sk 2 tr, dc in next tr, *ch 2, sk 2, dc in next tr. Rep from * |
Change colour, don’t cut the thread, just pick it up again after two rows. | |
Round 4-10 | Repeat 2, 3 (3x) |
Round 11 | Ch 1, sc in same st, *sc in ch 2, sc in dc. Rep from * |
Round 12 | Ch 1, sc in same st, sc around, slst in 1st sc. |
Cut of yarn and weave in ends. |
