Bobble heart knot so square – Free crochet pattern

bobble heart

In 2020 I made the Bobble heart knot so square and posted it as a free pattern to thank you for your support and virtual camaraderie.

Now, in 2022 I remade the square in the colours of the Ukrainian flag to support the people of Ukraine and for you as an extra bonus square to make if you’re doing the #crochetforpeacecal on Instagram.

Granny squares

I love Granny squares in all sorts and shapes. They are so versatile they make it easy to tackle a bigger project. One square at a time works really well for me. For me it really brings back the mindfulness in my crochet. After one square you have an instant result and that’s so rewarding!

If you would like to make the Bobbles in a different colour, change colour on the last yo of the last sc before the Bobble. Make sure to keep your yarn on the WS. I just left my yarn hanging to pick it up again when needed. This saves you from having to cut your yarn and weave in all the ends. All the Bobbles are made in the WS.
