Making and designing crochet lanterns is such fun. After the Willow lantern I just had to make more. The Dottie lantern was the first and it was published in Dutch in Creëer magzine no.5.
I love how crochet lanterns, in this case the Dottie lantern, make your home and garden a warmer and cosier place. By picking your own colours you can give them a personal touch.
Drops Safran
For this cute lantern I used three colours of Drops Safran. It’s one of my favourite yarns because of its shine, softness and many beautiful colors. And it gives great stitch definition!
I used Off white 18 (50gr), Powder pink 56 (15gr) and Red clay 59 (10 gr).
(Yarn and colors Must-have and Scheepjes Catona are a nice alternative.)
Please show me photo’s of you lantern on the socials using the tags #dottielantern and #knotsosquare I’d love that!
